I love nearby, I go here when I want to take a walk down the beach.
I had everything on the menu after all this time, the rolls and sandwiches are great, the lobster roll only has butter to flavor. Which let you taste the original flavor of the lobster. Their fried platters, there is too much batter for everything, and everything taste soggy. -

Was finally able experience this staple on Revere beach! Came here during lunch with some coworkers. There was a bit of a line when we arrived but it moved quickly. Grab a table under the pavilion while the weather is still nice.
The buffalo chicken wrap was good, but I wish the chicken was crispier. I was disappointed in the french fries. They came out cold and had no seasoning on them. However, reasonable prices for what you are getting.
The staff was willing to make substitutions on orders which was convenient! Kelly's is a decent option if you're spending the day on the beach. -

Really I have to say the photos don't really do this place justice. We had the fish and chips/ rings,
The fish had a nice crust on it and the pieces were very large. They had the mall vinegar Tabasco and tartar sauce available.
We also ordered a prime rib sandwich and the prime rib was very tender and seemed to be fresh, The sandwich came with onions pickles and mayonnaise we added barbecue sauce.
And sitting outside was great.
The one thing that this restaurant does lack is at least a sink hooked to the outside of the building so customers could wash their hands after they come off the beach or whatever they're doing I understand not wanting to take care of a toilet but a sink would be simple to put outside. -

Took a ride out to Revere Beach because my dad was craving clams. We figured Kelly's would be ideal since it is right off the water. I don't eat too much seafood, but figured I could not go wrong with a fish sandwich.
Kelly's is apparently a historical takeout spot on Revere Beach, and I am sure it is the go-to spot for the beach goers. Cannot say I was overly impressed with the fish sandwich. The fish was falling apart and it was pretty clear that it was not seasoned. Tried to drown it in some tartar sauce, but it did not help much. The fries were nothing to write home about either. I'm all about some seasoning! Oh yeah, and my dad was quite disappointed by his clam plate.....so much for that hour ride.
Definitely won't be rushing back. -

For a yum Roast Beef sandwich from Kelly's!
Legendary, open until the middle of the night, tasty, and a godsend if you want something good in the middle of the night on the North Shore of Beantown.
Pretty good Roast Beef, although not the best I've ever had (looking at you Roast Beast of Allston).
Kelly's is still yum tho, has good service and a cute girl who rustled up my sandwich.
The line can be long so when it's cold just be warned that you'll be standing out for a while. If you wait in your car, they'll call out to you which is nice.
The roast beef was very expensive at $10. I wish that it was a few dollars cheaper. Also the meat was cold but it was tasty and I did eat a good portion of it.
They're not overly generous with the sauces so you might want to ask for some extra. But what more do you want from the place that is open until the small hours in a sleepy beach suburb of Boston.
Now bear in mind, I'd have given them a 4 star if not for the fact that they are open so late, and it's literally the best thing you can get late in the North Shore, and one of the best in the whole region.
So come and try it. It won't Kellyou.
